If you can’t tell by the overwhelming number of photos below, Krystel and Carlos’s engagement session in NYC was one of my favorite adventures this year so far. I am so excited to shoot their wedding in Seattle later this year! Although they are getting married in Seattle, they actually live in NYC, so spending an afternoon adventuring through the city where they live and love with them was the perfect setting for their session. They braved the freezing cold and even the snow to capture some amazing images that I just love so much. We started off in Brooklyn on the waterfront and of course had to capture those classic bridge views. I officially have a crush on Brooklyn and need to go back ASAP and shoot more. So much character everywhere you look.
These two are masters of what I love to call “laughing kisses”. Laughing kisses are my favorite. It’s one of those things that makes a couple who is completely in love easy to spot. You know, that moment when two people start to kiss, but then they just can’t help but break into the biggest smile ever, and then of course that leads to the best laughter? Laughing kisses. These two do it a lot and I think it’s just the best ever.
After Brooklyn, We headed down to the subway to take us back up to Grand Central Station. We of course had to have some fun with those trains flying by.
We arrived in Grand Central and decided to embrace the hustle and bustle. More moving picture fun! I loved being able to capture the contrast of them motionless in the moment amongst all of the chaos. 
As the sky got darker and snow began to fall harder, we ventured out into the streets and had some fun as the city lights came on and sun began to set. Then FINALLY, my favorite spot, we waited for the city to light up and these two amazing people braved the freezing wind and snow to capture a romantic city rooftop view from Hells Kitchen!Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding you two!
