Grace and Michael’s wedding day was my very last that I shot before I left WA for good last year. The day started like this. One of the wetest, coldest, and windiest that I had seen that month. Being the troopers that they were however, they decided to move forward and not let the rain ruin their day. Their wedding was on one of my favorite beaches and surf spots along the WA coast, Kalaloch. For anybody that has been there you know that means no cell service and no stores. I found a tiny little camping store about 3o miles up the road and cleaned them out every poncho or waterproof item they had. This day was a testament to the beating that canon gear can take for sure. It was an all day battle of keeping things dry, under plastic, and trying to keep lenses from fogging up. Interesting to say the least but so worth it.
They say it is good luck to have rain on your wedding day. If that is really true, then Grace and Michael are set for LIFE in the luck department.
