This weekend I did a maternity shoot for a little girl that I can’t wait to meet in just a couple of months. Little Miss Demri Claire already has a wardrobe that Auntie Tara envies. Her mama and I have been friends for 20 years and someday I get to tell the little rocker princess that one afternoon sitting on Auntie Dante’s couch I was the first person to tell her mama “You’re Pregnant! (I’m holding onto that “I told you so” as long as possible! It’s the only one I’ve had in 20 years :-P)Baby girl I can’t wait to meet you, and cuddle you, and tell you sooooo many stories about your mama. She is one of the kindest, strongest, and most loving people I have ever known. You kinda scored big time in the cool parents department kiddo. Also, I promise to give you your first mowhawk, teach you how to drive fast, rock hard, shoot whiskey, oh and I’ll totally be there for your first tattoo!
