A little blog sneak peek from a very special session. I love love love getting to shoot lifestyle sessions! In this case, however, it was even more fun because I got to shoot the family of someone who I grew up since I was a little girl, and who I am blessed to still call one of my dearest friends.
It is definitely a unique situation to get to photograph someone who you have known so long. I will admit there was a few photos that I just CRACKED UP at while editing because they reminded me of things when we were kids. Not only with the kids expressions and similarities to their parents, but with the adults as well. I of course immediately sent Dante a message and the photo and said “Hey, remember that face your mom used to make at us when we were kids when we got in trouble? “. To which she immediately responded “DELETE THAT!”

These two. Adore them and this image so much. They have the sweetest relationship.
Miss Addison. Always calm, observant and helpful. She has such a giving heart.
And Miss Abigail. A creative handful of unique brilliant energy who just loves to make everybody around her laugh and enjoy life as much as she does.

And Maddox. Don’t ever leave your phone within reach of this little guy :-P. Auntie Tara learned that the hard way. Always on the go and all boy!
