Finally back again! I managed this neat little blogging streak for a while and once again life craziness took over. I’ll catch y’all up on all that later I promise, but for now I want to share a recent shoot!
One of the coolest things about what I do, is that through the process of teaching over the years, I have ended up connected with lots of amazing photographers all over the country and world. One of those amazing photographers is Suzanne! She attended one of my workshops when I was still pregnant with Riley (yeah it’s been a while). Since then she herself has had a precious little girl and life has flown by for both of us. When she asked me to do a shoot for her I was SOOOOO excited. Her family is just beyond amazing, and I couldn’t wait to get my camera focused on them. They just exude authenticity, love, creativity, personality, and beauty. The connections they all share blew me away, and as I told Suzanne I just wanted to kidnap her kids and take them home with me.
I had a million ideas for this shoot and Suzanne let me run free with all of them (one of the many reasons I love working with other photographers, they tend to enjoy my crazy ideas more than normal clients ;). ) She met me over in Alabama for the evening with her stunning little family for our shoot. I randomly stumbled upon a rooftop of a parking garage in downtown Fairhope the morning of our shoot and knew immediately that we had to use it!
Miss Stella on her daddy’s skateboard!
I figured out early on that our shoot was probably going to have a theme of “Where’s max?”. I adore his adventurous little boy spirit and he definitely made sure to keep me on my toes!
Downtown Fairhope has so many perfectly manicured sidewalks and cute crosswalks we just had to take a minute to use those as well before we headed down to the beach for the end to our evening.
After downtown, we headed down to the local beach for some fun relaxed time and to let the kiddos have some water time. 🙂
